Prologue for the first time
Juror No. 1's narrative ends.
The "first document" he read was divided into two parts.
The first half is an official backup of the "Sunshine Youth Behavior Correction Center Tragedy", written based on the investigation report submitted by Lieutenant Mark Scram of EAS as the basis for filing. Basically, nothing was found.
The second half is described in the third person perspective, about the truth about the case. Of course, there is no mention of the matters of Kageori and Xian Xiaoxiao, nor any description of the psychological activities of the parties involved; it only describes the story of the incident in a style close to the "report".
Therefore, it didn't take much time to read this report. In less than ten minutes, Juror No. 1 put down the I-PEN in his hand.
Then, the table of people fell into silence again.
But this time, the silence did not last long, because juror No. 10 quickly broke the silence.
"Aren't you going to say something?" he turned his sight to Juror No. 5 and suddenly asked.
This juror No. 5 is nothing else, but Che Wuchen.
"Are you talking to me?" Che Wuchen looked back without changing his face and asked back.
"Isn't this nonsense?" No. 10 said again, "As the person involved, do you have nothing to add to this matter...Agent Che?"
As soon as he said these last three words, several people immediately turned their heads and looked at Che Wuchen; however, several people were still unmoved, and there were also sneering.
"Do you know me?" Che Wuchen answered the other party's questions again.
"Ha! Of course I know you." No. 10 smiled, "I basically know all the people in front of me, but you just don't know me."
As soon as he said this, everyone could turn their attention to him again.
This No. 10 is a very conspicuous person because... he looks like a dwarf.
The reason why it is said to "look like" is because there are also differences.
If you have to describe it, Juror No. 10 is like a boy under ten years old, but his neck is pressed against the head of a forty-year-old uncle; although his face, expression, voice... are like a fierce and arrogant middle-aged white man, and his head is much larger than that of a child, but the skin on his face is still as tender as a child, and there are even some freckles. His chin has no trace of a beard. If you observe carefully... his Adam's apple has not yet developed.
"What? Don't you believe it?" No. 10 was not afraid at all when facing the onlookers, but became a little excited. "Hmph... I can report the identity of a few people now." He said, pointing to Che Wuchen and said, "This No. 5 is the inspector mentioned in the document just now... Che Wuchen, a senior agent of FCPS, and then, on his left... Oh no... it's his right. Looking from me, the left is this No. 4 juror... Haha... He is famous, and you can scare you to kneel down when you say it. He is..."
Bang--
No. 10, I didn't finish my words.
He was interrupted by a gunshot.
The gun was fired by No. 4.
No one saw him pulling the gun, no one saw him pulling the trigger, and no one noticed any murderous aura.
When everyone reacted, the gun had already fired.
The head of No. 10 had already exploded like a broken watermelon; the back of the chair behind his head was also affected, and a hole was blasted out, a large amount of blood, brain and bone fragments... all passed through the hole and were pasted on the wall behind No. 10.
"You guy..." Two seconds later, Juror No. 7... a man wearing a windbreaker and still wearing a baseball cap indoors suddenly raised the brim of the hat slightly and looked at No. 4 and said, "Can it be..."
Bang--
Another shot, just like the previous shot, the number four was still the one who took action, but this time, his bullet... hit the wall.
"So that's it..." When No. 4 fired, he didn't even look at No. 7, but after the gunshot, he turned his face toward the other party.
At this moment, if someone stood behind No. 4 and observed, he would find that the muzzle of the gun in his hand, the head of the juror No. 7, and the bullet holes on the wall behind No. 7 were in a straight line.
But for some reason, the bullet did not hit No. 7, who was sitting in the same place and did not hit the back of the chair behind his head, but hit the wall behind him.
Dinglinglinglinglinglingling-
Just as the situation at the scene seemed to be about to turn into a fight, the old-fashioned phone call in front of juror No. 1 rang again.
This incident ended the No. 4 further action.
"Hey?" This time, No. 1 had almost no hesitation and picked up the phone with one pickup.
But after answering for two seconds, he took the receiver away from his ear and handed it to his left: "Look for you."
On his left hand is Juror No. 2.
No. 2 glanced at No. 1, and didn't say much. He took the receiver and said, "Hey?"
It took him a long time to answer the call.
"Well... OK, I understand." In the next minute, juror No. 2 listened with the receiver while listening, he responded a few times in short words like this.
A minute later, he hung up the phone, looked left and right, and said, "'He' asked us to vote, those who think that they are 'criminal'... put their right hand on the table, those who think that they are 'innocence', and those who put their left hand, other actions other than these two actions are considered abstention."
"You wait first." Jurors No. 7 spoke again at this time, "Who is the suspect you haven't said 'voted' yet."
"Yes." No. 2 sighed and glanced at the phone on the table, "because 'he' didn't say anything."
"From the documents just now, we must be asking us to determine whether Che Wuchen is guilty." Jurors No. 11 continued.
"Not necessarily..." Jurors No. 6, also the only woman among the people on the table, said, "Don't forget that the phone came after No. 4 fired."
"But the guy on the other end of the phone said at the beginning that this so-called 'special trial' is to finally reach an agreement on 'the issue he provided'..." Juror No. 1 took over the conversation at this time, "and No. 4 had not yet killed someone when he conveyed this message to me."
These people analyzed them one by one, and each person's tone sounded rational and calm.
There was a corpse next to it that was terrible with bloody smell and a terrible death. It was obvious that this person was killed in front of them, but none of them talked about it again; it was as if... the murder was like someone lit a cigarette in the room and farted... It would be fine if he didn't mention it.
"Okay, vote." After listening for a while, No. 2 was a little impatient. He raised his voice and said, "Anyway, there is no need to waste time."
His words make sense.
So everyone became quiet again.
"I'll do it first." Seeing that everyone seemed to agree, No. 2 slapped his left hand on the table. "I declared in advance that I don't know what he asked us to vote for, but since he said that we could leave after we reached an agreement, it would be better for everyone to vote for "innocence" together, and then we can go our separate ways..."
"Stop kidding." Unexpectedly, the next second, juror No. 1 snatched, "I don't want to give my own opinions casually in such a dangerous voting." He paused for a moment, "I refuse to vote."
"I refuse, too." No. 6 quickly agreed with him.
Several other people also made it clear that they did not want to vote, and some shook their heads or didn't speak.
In fact, it doesn't matter whether they express their opinions or not. Since the person who organized the trial asked "everyone reached an agreement" to end, as long as one person refuses to vote, or there is any disagreement, this round of voting will be considered a failure.
"Okay." Before everyone could express their opinions, No. 2 spoke again, "Then we can only continue to play with 'him'..."
As he said that, he also took out an I-PEN from his pocket, just like No. 1... and entered a password he had just learned from the phone and unlocked the screen.
"Oh... by the way." A few seconds later, No. 2 said again, "'He's just said that if the vote fails and needs to continue reading the document, let me say hello to No. 4 and tell him not to kill anyone..." Speaking of this, he turned to No. 4 and looked at No. 4, "...because this second document is about No. 4."
No. 2 licked his lips and said to No. 4: "Brother, I don't read this by myself. If you have any opinions..."
"Okay." No. 4 didn't finish listening to him, and then continued, "You read it." As he said that, he took the gun in his hand back to the inside of the suit.
