Chapter 14 Moen City Level(2/2)

"I've finished my story, let me go investigate." Wuming said as he stood up, tied up the rope and continued walking towards Moren City.

The officer's sword stopped him:

"Who said you can go investigate? This is the territory of Moren City, and it requires the consent of the city lord."

"Then you go and report it?"

"Have you forgotten that you are still a murderer?" the officer said, "you go to the prison and wait for Lord Edgar's verdict and trial."

"This is inappropriate for you." Wuming said, "I originally wanted to solve the problem in a peaceful and kind manner, so don't force me."

"You still want to use violence?" The officer pointed the ballista at Wuming.

Wuming was openly unafraid and said:

"You said we are not from Grek, nor from the royal city, right? But we are the faded ones."

"So? We should be courteous to the disabled?" The golden light in the officer's eyes became brighter and brighter, almost making him burst into tears.

Wuming jumped to Magri's side:

"Do you know who this is? A descendant of a warrior. Do you know the identity of a descendant of a warrior? We are not from the royal city, but we are subordinates of King Godfrey."

Wuming stared at the officer:

"You look down on the faded ones, how dare you disrespect King Godfrey?"

The officer seemed to be shocked by the nameless glare. He was silent for a moment and said:

"Do you know where this is?"

"Moen City, what's wrong?" Wuming said.

"Do you know what Moen's priceless treasure is?" the officer asked again.

Wuming blinked, feeling a little bad.

Nok suddenly said:

"Moen City was once captured by King Godfrey himself. The heroes of the subjugated country collected all the weapons of the warriors and forged legendary weapons to continue fighting, but were ultimately defeated by King Godfrey. The descendants of the Vengeful King accepted the rule of the Golden Tree

, be able to inherit that legendary weapon and take charge of Moren City."

"That is to say, they have a feud with King Godfrey?" Wuming concluded.

The officer nodded: "Although we are subjects of the Golden Tree, and King Godfrey is indeed a hero worthy of admiration, this does not prevent us from hating him."

Wuming was silent for a while and said seriously:

"As they said, I am really not familiar with him. Although I am a faded person, I am not a descendant of a warrior."

"It can be seen that only homeless people can be so shameless." The officer said and ordered them to be suppressed.

"Hey, don't do anything, we still have a backstage." Wuming jumped to Nok's side again.

Just as he was about to say something, a war eagle flew over, landed in front of the officer, and threw the bamboo tube in its talons to the officer.

The officer unfolded the paper in the bamboo tube, looked at it for a while, then looked at the three people, and waved his hand:

"Let it go."

The three were untied and placed behind the guards.

The officer said to them: "If you dare to come here again, I will kill you directly."

The three people looked at each other.

"Why was he suddenly released again?" Magli wondered.

"Maybe it's because I have a lot of face." Wuming said, "It's always a good thing."

Knock is not so optimistic.

What just happened was really weird.

The figure of the headless corpse always lingered in her mind, with a little doubt,

She didn't care about killing people, but that Pumpkinhead was obviously an officer, but the officer didn't seem to care about Pumpkinhead's life or death.

Nok asked Wuming: "That pumpkin head...why did you say you didn't kill him?"

"As you can see, I know a little bit of necromancy." Wuming said, "Based on my experience, that body has been dead for a while, so it couldn't have been me."

"Then it's even weirder. Why would they put a body in the middle of the road?" Nok asked.

"Then you have to ask them, I don't know." Wuming said, "Those are not important, the important thing is Moren City."

Wuming said that he was going to move forward.

The two people stood still and had no intention of following.

Knock said: "It's time for us to say goodbye."

She pulled Magri to leave.

Nok had an inexplicable feeling that if he continued to follow Wuming, there would be a lot of trouble.

Wuming didn't hold back or say goodbye, he just watched them leave.

Within a few minutes, they came back disgraced.

Magri's face was full of disbelief:

"The checkpoint on the bridge actually doesn't let us go back."

Wuming nodded: "He just said that if he sees us again, we will start a fight."

"Then we can only go towards Morn City?" Nok frowned.

"Unless you can find the legendary undersea tunnel of the Asians." Wuming smiled and walked forward.

Nok followed up and said, "Don't you find it strange? They could have driven us to the other side of the bridge. Why are they driving us to Morn City? Aren't you afraid of a conspiracy?"

"So the most important thing is Morn City, where clues can be found." Wuming said, "As for the conspiracy... we are the Faded ones, we will not be afraid."

He strode forward:

"Everyone has died before, so why are you afraid of some conspiracy? The worst case scenario is that you will die again."

Nock said: "Not all faded people are awakened by blessings. Some people can see blessings during their lifetime. Not all people who are awakened can wake up again. They should face death with caution."

Wuming stopped and made a silent gesture to them.

The two immediately fell silent and looked forward.

There was blood and smoke not far away, as if a battle had just ended.

The soldiers sat scattered on the ground to rest, and some of the seriously injured were still wailing.

A carriage overturned to the ground, and the horse's body was mutilated, as if it had been eaten by wild animals.

And the culprits of the bloody scene in front of us are everywhere.

A kind of humanoid creature with two wings on its back, a ferocious appearance, and holding a hatchet.

"Hybrid demi-humans." Nok recognized them. "They should be very gentle. Why would they attack humans?"

Wuming observed those hybrid demi-humans:

"It turns out these things attacked Patch and the others."

He looked back and saw that not far away, there was a level fully armed with ballistas.

The demi-humans almost hit their rear.

Thinking of the fiery eyes of the level master, Wuming found it interesting.

"It's really interesting." He said in a playful tone.

"Who is it!"

The nameless voice was heard, and the resting soldiers drew their swords and stood ready.

Nameless walks out:

"Don't worry, we are good people and faded ones."

Some soldiers became even more nervous when they heard the word "faded person", so they raised their swords and struck.

But they were tired and injured, and were easily subdued by the three of them.

Wuming knocked out the rushing soldiers and said helplessly:

"Why bother."

"Is anyone there?" A soft voice sounded from the side.

Surrounded by soldiers, a blindfolded girl sat on a stone to rest.

The soldiers stared at Wuming with their swords.

Wuming looked at the blindfolded girl's blindfold and smiled:

"You're not a finger-removing witch, are you?"
