Chapter 5 Pseudo-Scholar and True Scholar
"Sounds pretty good." Hermione gently stroked Crook Hill, who was sleeping on her lap, and she said in a playful tone, "Professor Dumbledore--No, it was Minister Dumbledore who took you to persuade Slughorn to be the professor of potions at Hogwarts. Is he treating you as a male PR?"
Silver couldn't help but get goosebumps.
"Can you not be so disgusting?" Silver protested. "I thought you should be proud of your boyfriend."
Hermione giggled, and Crook Hill was awakened by her and looked blankly at Hermione who was laughing, then turned to look at Silver.
"Oh, no, Crook Hill, spare me." The big cat jumped on Silver's face and slapped Silver with its front paws. "Hermione, hurry up and keep Crook Hill, you are bullying me, what's the point of it?"
Hermione suppressed her smile and walked forward to take Mount Crook away, then rescued Silver.
"My God, Hermione, Mount Crook almost left a wound on my handsome face." Silver said in an exaggerated voice.
Crook Mountain in Hermione's arms made a dissatisfied cry.
"Okay OK, OK." Hermione comforted Mount Crook, "Who told you to laugh at the hair-losed Mount Crook in the pet shop before the holiday, it was in return for you. Besides, Mount Crook is very sensible and has no claws at all."
Crook Mountain snores “That’s it.”
"Well, Crook Mountain, you're such a petty cat." Silver said, "We're going to be even now. Really, I've often fed you fish biscuits a lot, so I can't make any jokes."
"Oh, by the way." Silver seemed to remember something suddenly, "Dumbledore seemed to say that our O.W.Ls results will be sent today!"
"Today?" Hermione exclaimed. "Today? Then why aren't you too late—oh. Oh my god—no wonder you asked me to come here today. Does that owl know I'm here? It won't be sent to my house..."
"Don't be excited, Hermione." Silver was a little helpless. As long as it was related to the exam, Hermione would become so excited. "I told Dumbledore that you would come to me."
"How could I not be excited?" She jumped up. "Dumbledore is now minister. He is very likely to forget such trivial matters. No, if I wait for the Owls to come, I have to go home first."
"You can't do this, Hermione." Silver said weakly.
"I'll go outside to see if there are any owls flying..." Hermione ran out loud. Even Crucker Mountain was still on the chair.
When Silver chased outside with the "abandoned" Crook Mountain, she found Hermione paced back and forth anxiously on the platform of the castle, which was the residence of Griffon Balzac, who was lying there curiously watching Hermione walk around in place.
Hermione paced around and around, her fingers tugging together.
"Silver, didn't there be owls flying in before I came?"
"Absolutely not, I would have noticed if there were any." Silver said.
"Can Balzac eat the owl?" Hermione said upset.
Balzac made a bright cry to protest.
Silver was amused and crying. "Hermione, Balzac never eats birds."
"I know I failed the ancient magical text exam," Hermione muttered upset, "There must be at least one of the translations that were completely wrong. There is also the practical class on black magic defense. I also did a lot of tests, and I completely forgot what you gave me. I thought the Transformation exam was OK at the time, but now I think about it-"
"Hermione. Don't be nervous, the results have been set!" Silver said. "When you get eleven O.W.Ls' 'excellent', you will feel how ridiculous the anxiety is now."
"No, no, stop talking!" Hermione said hysterically, slapped her hands, "I know I failed every goal!"
Griffin Balzac let out another sharp chirp, and its eyes stared at a sky in the distance.
"Okay, Hermione, Balzac has found out."
"What? I can't see anything."
"This is normal. The griffin's sight distance is more than ten times that of humans, and they can see something farther away."
After a while, two clear small black dots appeared in the sky, and they became bigger and bigger.
"Look, this is an owl," said Silver. He stuffed Mount Crook back to Hermione. "You just lost Mount Crook."
Crook Mountain made a grievance meow.
But Hermione, who was still nervous, didn't pay attention to what they said. She just held Mount Crucker unconsciously.
"There are two in total," Silver said.
"One of us," Hermione whispered in panic, "Oh, no...oh, no...oh, no..."
Her arms tightened as she held Crook Hill, and Crook Hill screamed in pain and managed to escape from the hostess' arms.
The owls flew straight towards them, two beautiful tan owls, and when they were very close, they saw that each owl was holding a large square envelope.
"Oh, no!" Hermione screamed.
Two owls flew over, landed in front of the city and raised their right leg in unison.
Silver leaned forward. The envelope tied to the left was his name on the envelope tied to the leg. He took it off. To his right, Hermione's hands were shaking so hard that her owl was shaking all over.
Silver tore open the envelope and unfolds the parchment inside.

"I--it's fine." Hermione whispered.
