However, when Sakyamuni Buddha learned that Xuan Su, the disciple of Wudang's Virgin, Deng Chanyu and the other two solved the three difficulties in the 81 difficulties, they immediately became angry and immediately ordered everyone to disperse, leaving only the ancient Buddha of Lanting, Maitreya Buddha, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva and Manjushri Bodhisattva, who planned to discuss with them. Unfortunately, after discussing, everyone still failed to come up with any good countermeasures.
Just when everyone was disappointed, I suddenly heard the head of Sakyamuni Buddha laughing and said, "Hahahaha! I have thought of a solution!"
When Landeng Ancient Buddha and others heard this, they looked at Sakyamuni Buddha with a strange look.
Seeing the four people's expressions, Shakyamuni Buddha was slightly embarrassed and said to the four people: "I am not Amitabha, I have lost my composure."
The ancient Buddha and others looked at each other, chuckled, and then said to Sakyamuni Buddha in unison: "With Amitabha, Buddha, don't be polite." After that, the four of them looked at Sakyamuni Buddha together, with expectations in their eyes.
Seeing this, Shakyamuni Buddha said to the four people: "When I am not Amitabha Buddha, the plan that Junior Brother Samantabhadra has just not worked, but if we make a little modification, it will be a clever plan." After that, a glimmer of light flashed in Shakyamuni Buddha's eyes.
When the four of them heard this, they were all stunned, and then looked at Sakyamuni Buddha in confusion.
Maitreya Buddha was anxious and asked directly: "I don't know what the Buddha's plan is?" After that, he looked at Shakyamuni Buddha with an anxious look on his face.
When Sakyamuni Buddha saw Maitreya Buddha's expression, he sighed in his heart. How could he not know Maitreya Buddha's mind? It can be seen that Maitreya Buddha was so anxious, but he lost his heart, which would be very detrimental to his future practice. However, Sakyamuni Buddha was helpless about this. He also knew that Maitreya Buddha's heart knot was Wudang's Holy Mother, but even he himself was not the enemy of Wudang's Holy Mother. How could Maitreya Buddha untied his heart knot?
However, it was not the time to think about this. Shakyamuni Buddha cleaned up his mood and said to the four people: "Not Amitabha, we ordered everyone to send their own boys and mounts, which can be summoned from three to five months, and at least three to five days. In this way, everyone in the Jieshi Sect naturally had no time to kill them. It was so false and real that when Jin Chanzi came to obtain the scriptures, it would be considered a difficult situation. Ninety-nine and eighty-one difficulties could be collected soon."
When Landeng Ancient Buddha and others heard the words of Sakyamuni Buddha, they were all very happy. At the same time, they secretly admired Sakyamuni Buddha's agility and ability to turn a failed plan into a wonderful plan, which made everyone admire them.
Maitreya Buddha immediately said, "Without Amitabha Buddha, the Buddha's plan is very wonderful. Moreover, doing this can confuse everyone and make them unable to distinguish between the real and the real." After that, he looked happy.
When Lan Deng Ancient Buddha heard Maitreya Buddha say "not distinguishing between the real and the real", his heart suddenly moved. At that moment, Lan Deng Ancient Buddha lowered his head and thought for a moment, then smiled and said, "Man Wu Amitabha Buddha, what Maitreya Venerable said is very much. However, if you want everyone in the Jie Sect to be unable to distinguish between the real and the real, you can go further."
When Maitreya Buddha heard this, he hurriedly asked, "I don't know what tricks did the ancient Buddha Lan Deng have?" The other people were looking forward to looking at the ancient Buddha Lan Deng, even Shakyamuni Buddha.
The ancient Buddha of Lan Deng smiled and said, "Not Amitabha, we just need to divide the mounts of the boys into several waves, and then send them from time to time. When the Jie Sect comes, we will retreat, the Jie Sect retreat, and we will come out again. If this happens several times, they will definitely be confused by us. At that time, I will be able to succeed in taking things in secret."
When everyone heard Lan Deng’s words, their eyes lit up. Maitreya Buddha said happily: “Not Amitabha Buddha, this plan of the ancient Buddha is very wonderful. In this way, the Jieshua will definitely be unable to separate one and lose another. We can calmly plan the preaching matter.”
The eyes of Shakyamuni Buddha in the upper head flashed, and he chuckled: "Monwah Amitabha Buddha, this plan of the ancient Buddha is indeed wonderful. It can not only confuse the people of the Jie Cult, but also make them exhausted. The most important thing is that there are not many disciples of the Jie Cult, and they cannot withstand such rushing." After that, Shakyamuni Buddha raised the corner of his mouth, and looked like he was sure to hold it.
After hearing the words of Shakyamuni Buddha, everyone nodded and said in unison: "I don't want to be Amitabha, what the Buddha said is very much."
Shakyamuni Buddha nodded with a smile, and then said to several people: "I don't want Amitabha Buddha, so I'll trouble you all the junior brothers to act according to your plan."
When Landeng Ancient Buddha and others heard this, they hurriedly responded, and then they dispersed.
....................................
But there was a fortune teller on Ximen Street in Chang'an. This man was a fortune teller who was civilized in the entire Chang'an. A woodcutter sent the fortune teller a golden carp every day, so he calculated the woodcutter's hang. Then the woodcutter followed his position and tried hundreds of times. After several times, the aquatic races in the Jinghe River waters outside Chang'an City gradually decreased. The Dragon King of Jinghe was extremely angry about this and sent his eldest son to investigate the matter.
The eldest prince turned into a mortal, met you woodcutter, and after some words, he got involved in the matter of the fortune teller. When the eldest prince learned about this, he hurried back to the Dragon Palace of Jinghe and reported the matter to the Dragon King of Jinghe in a simplified manner.
When the Dragon King of Jinghe heard the words of his eldest son, he was shocked. If the fortune teller was really so powerful, then more people would come to ask for the conclusion soon. Will the Jinghe Aquarium be salvaged completely if this continues? Thinking of this, the Dragon King of Jinghe couldn't help but feel anxious, so he transformed himself into a white-clothed handsome man, left the Dragon Palace, and walked to the streets of the west gate of Chang'an City.
Then the Dragon King of Jinghe made a bet with the fortune teller Yuan Shoucheng, but he did not expect that the Dragon King of Jinghe was confused for the time of the bet, which made the Jade Emperor furious to kill the Dragon King of Jinghe. In the face of death, the Dragon King of Jinghe no longer cared about his dignity and was proud and asked Yuan Shoucheng for help. After the Dragon King of Jinghe repeatedly requested him, one way was to ask Emperor Taizong of Tang and let him ask for mercy from Cao Guanwei on behalf of the Dragon King of Jinghe. The Dragon King of Jinghe seemed to have grabbed a life-saving straw and hurriedly left to prepare.
After the Dragon King of Jinghe returned, he prepared to give Tang Taizong a dream at midnight and asked him for help. When Tang Taizong heard the Dragon King say that if he could help him escape the death disaster, he would definitely ensure the good weather in Chang'an in the future. He was very happy and agreed without hesitation.
The next day, Emperor Taizong of Tang Dynasty announced that Prime Minister Wei Zheng went to the palace to play chess with him. He wanted to plead for the Dragon King of Jinghe while playing chess, but Wei Zheng actually killed the Dragon King of Jinghe in his dream.
After the death of the Dragon King of Jinghe, his soul could not rest in peace. Although he knew that he had violated the laws of heaven and had more than death, he was still worried about the deceiving of Emperor Taizong of Tang, so his ghost would enter the palace every night to scare Emperor Taizong.
The lord of Emperor Taizong of Tang was a man of ten thousand gold, and he worked hard on national affairs day and night. Now he was intimidated by this evil dragon. How could all the ministers not worry? Qin Shubao, two generals of Emperor Taizong of Tang, fought south and north, followed Emperor Taizong of Tang to fight in battles. Yuchi Gong guarded outside the palace of Emperor Taizong of Tang every night. The two generals could naturally shock the evil soul of the Dragon King of Jinghe. This was also the origin of the future gods.
Emperor Taizong of Tang was overjoyed, but he couldn't bear to the hard work of the two generals, so he ordered the public painter to paint the two generals on paper and paste them on the palace gate to ensure the safety of the palace. Although this shocked the Dragon King's unjust soul, Emperor Taizong of Tang took it from his brother when he first obtained the throne, and the Xuanwu Gate incident was blood flowing.
The next night, Emperor Taizong of Tang dreamed of traveling around the underworld and seeing the eighteen levels of the underworld, he almost returned to heaven. Then strange things happened in the palace one after another. Later, the abbot of the Jinguang Temple, Master Xuanzang, recited scriptures and prayed for Emperor Taizong of Tang, which gradually calmed down the strange things in the palace. Seeing this, Emperor Taizong of Tang began to have an inexplicable favor for the Dharma, and treated Master Xuanzang even more politely and often listened to him preaching the Dharma.
On this day, Master Xuanzang was preaching Buddhism. Emperor Taizong of Tang was also present, but an elder shouted loudly: "Sell robes and tin staff, 5,000 taels of thorns and 2,000 taels of thorns."
Everyone present heard this and said to himself, "Even if it is a rare treasure, the price is too expensive." After thinking about it, he looked at the shouting elder and saw him wearing a plain dress, describing Qigu, followed by a little novice monk. These two people were transformed by Guanyin Bodhisattva and Hui'an practitioners.
Seeing this, Emperor Taizong glanced at the place and saw the cassock and tin staff in the hand of Hui'an Walker. He looked at Master Xuanzang who was preaching Buddhism on the high platform. He felt a move in his heart and ordered people to invite the two of them to the palace. Then he ordered people to wait for Master Xuanzang to preach the Dharma and invite him over.
After the two arrived at the palace, Taizong asked, "What is the beauty of the elder's cassock and tin staff? It's so expensive?"
Guanyin Bodhisattva smiled slightly and said, "There are benefits of cassocks, but they are not good; there are some places where you need money, and some places where you don't need money."
When Taizong heard this, he was slightly stunned, lowered his head and thought for a while, and asked again: "What is good? What is bad?"
Guanyin Bodhisattva turned around and pointed to the cassock and tin staff in the hand of Hui'an practitioner and said, "If you wear my cassock, you will not fall into hell, you will not suffer from evil difficulties, and you will not encounter the pits of tigers and wolves. This is not good if you are greedy for lust and happy with misfortunes, monks who do not fast or precepts, or ordinary people who destroy scriptures and slander Buddhas, you will not see my cassock. This is not good."
When Emperor Taizong heard this, he frowned, but he felt a little unbelievable. However, seeing that Guanyin Bodhisattva was serious, he still reluctantly believed it a little, so he asked again: "What do you want money? Don't have money?"
Guanyin Bodhisattva replied: "If you do not follow the Dharma, and do not respect the Three Jewels, you will force yourself to buy a cassock and a tin staff, and you will definitely sell him 7,000 taels. This is money; if you respect the Three Jewels, rejoice in seeing good deeds, take refuge in my Buddha, and can afford it, I will give him the cassock and a tin staff to make a good relationship with me, and this is not money."
When Emperor Taizong heard this, he nodded and was about to speak, when he saw that Master Xuanzang had arrived.
When Emperor Taizong saw Master Xuanzang coming, he smiled at him and said, "The master is here just right. I see that this cassock and tin staff are a rare treasure. I am just trying to buy it and give it to the master."
Master Xuanzang heard this and hurriedly bowed and said, "I thank you for your kindness."
Taizong nodded with a smile, then turned to Guanyin Bodhisattva and said, "I have bought this cassock and tin staff from the elder."
Guanyin Bodhisattva nodded with a smile, and then handed over the two things to Master Xuanzang.
After Master Xuanzang accepted the two things, Guanyin Bodhisattva discussed the Three True Sutras of Mahayana Buddhism with him. This statement immediately made Master Xuanzang smile, and Taizong, who was the leader, was also very happy. After the two finished speaking, Taizong asked everyone: "Who can go to the West to seek the True Sutra and benefit the people of the Tang Dynasty?"
Master Xuanzang came out and said, "Report to Your Majesty, I am willing to go to the West to seek the true scriptures."
Emperor Taizong of Tang was about to speak, but he heard Guanyin Bodhisattva say, "The west is 108,000 miles away, and there are countless demons and monsters on the road, so how dare you go?"
When Xuanzang heard the serious expression, he walked up to Emperor Taizong of Tang and bowed: "I am not talented, I am willing to work hard for Your Majesty, seek the true scriptures for the people of the world, and protect my king's king's country forever."
Emperor Taizong of Tang was overjoyed when he heard Xuanzang's words and stood up from the throne, came to Xuanzang and helped him up with his own hands and said, "The master's intention has moved me, and I am willing to become a sworn master."
When Guanyin Bodhisattva saw this, he smiled slightly, then showed his Dharma body with Hui'an practitioner and left. Everyone present was shocked when they saw this, and hurriedly chased out of the hall and knelt down to see him off. Taizong, Xuanzang, a group of ministers and the people in Chang'an City all felt a little yearning for Western Buddhism when they saw Guanyin Bodhisattva's Dharma body.
A few days later, on the day of Xuanzang's journey to the west, Emperor Taizong of Tang led a group of ministers out of the city to see him off. Before leaving, Emperor Taizong of Tang took Xuanzang the nickname Sanzang, meaning that Xuanzang would definitely be able to retrieve the Sanzang's true scriptures.
Tang Sanzang bid farewell to the King of Tang and headed west to take a horse, and from then on the journey to the west began.
